Welcome to the “Empowering Small Businesses” series, highlighting organizations and programs dedicated to fostering community and providing support for small businesses like yours. In the first installment, learn how INPEACE is empowering small business owners on the Westside.

Elevating small businesses through education, connection, and collaboration

INPEACE, the Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture, is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of life for Native Hawaiians through community partnerships that provide educational opportunities and promote self-sufficiency.

The Center for Entrepreneurship is a program under INPEACE that supports family-owned businesses to increase their capacity to succeed.

“The Center for Entrepreneurship was started based on the needs of the community. Families who were participating in one of the INPEACE programs began creating products and asked for resources to help sell their products to create another income stream for their family. This generated more families asking for support on how to create their own small business.
