This session will give a broad overview of what value-added food products are, how they contribute to promoting Hawaiʻi agriculture and economic diversification, and the people advancing this movement forward. This month’s featured guests are Jason Ball, product developer with ArktiskMat, and Christiane Bolosan-Yee, instructor of ‘Āina to Mākeke on what it means to develop a value-added product and business from the ground up.
